IN THIS SECTION
The Department of Geological Sciences provides training for those who want to become professional geologists and seek careers in university or college teaching, in industry, in research laboratories, and in federal and state geological surveys; for those who wish to teach Earth and atmospheric science at the secondary school level; and for those who seek a general knowledge of geology and atmospheric science and their relationship to other sciences.
We recently added two new degree tracks:
Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Geological Science – Atmospheric Science and
Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Geological Science – Atmospheric Science.
